I am Preeti and I have been a plant-mom (if you will) for over four decades now. I've grown almost everything possible - from beginner proof spider plants to highly demanding water lilies.

I remember my grandma telling me how fascinated I was with plants growing up. Ever since I started walking, I was so intrigued by plants that I would pluck the lime plantlets to see if the roots were growing. Of course, I don't remember any of it!

Plants have always amazed me—from tiny seeds to bountiful trees, bearing fruits and flowers. It's magical.

I'm writing this blog to share the lessons I learned from years of growing my garden - some fond, some humorous, and some just expensive.

COVID-19 has all of us cooped up indoors, so we might as well make the most of it. If you have some space in your house - indoors or outdoors - make room for our green babies (friends?). Experience the joy of seeing a leaf sprout. Help the planet. Remember - you can never have too many plants.
